The answer is YES!!!!

Jewelry Making Supplies page was added because I seem to be a jack of all trades and master of none.  I don't limit myself to just one area so I use jewelry making supplies in my projects and in jewelry.  We offer bead design boards, beading mats, limited supply of jewelry findings, crimp beads and crimp bead tool, bead bar pins, pin backs and more.

ss-383blackgoldcorduse.jpg

Twisted Cord Black Necklace Top~ I think this is a clever idea.  You provide a beaded piece, attach it and you have a completed necklace without a lot of extra work.  You can also make them interchangeable with this process.  This has a black polyester cord and a gold top and chain.  This is a generous size cord, although they do not seem to have the measurement for it.  The length of each piece of the cording and cap is 7"- - 14" in total.  So depending upon the length of the piece you add to it, you can have an assortment of different lengths of necklace.  So this package comes with the 2- 7" pieces of cording and cap, plus the chain.
$2.99

ss-386whitegoldcorduse.jpg

Twisted White Cord, Gold Cap, Necklace Top~ This is white twisted cording with gold cap and gold chain and lobster claw clasp.  Each section of cording measures 7" long.  You create your own center piece for the necklace and attach it to the cording for a unique one of a kind necklace.  You can make your pieces interchangeable.
$2.99

ss-377blacksilvercorduse.jpg

Black Twisted Cord, Silver Cap, Necklace Top~ This is the black twisted polyester cord with the silver cap.  Each piece measures 7" plus the chain and lobster claw clasp.
$2.99

ss-382silverwhitecorduse.jpg

White Twisted Cord with Silver Cap Necklace Top~  This cording, although exactly the same as the white cording above with the gold cap- with the silver cap it seems to take on an appearance of silver, although being white.  So that could be an added bonus for you.  It has 2 - 7" twisted cording pieces and the chain and lobster claw clasp add additional length.  You need to add another piece to finish this creation out, whether it be beaded, strung, etc.  You can create your own unique piece of jewelry.
$2.99

ss-388curbchainsilveruse.jpg

Curb Chain, Silver, Necklace Top~ This chain is like the necklace tops above.  It has 2 separate 7" lengths of chain, plus additional chain and lobster claw clasp.  You use these by creating your own beaded piece or bead embroidered, bead strung piece.  It helps because you don't have to create additional lengths of your beaded creation in order to wear it.  You attach it to these and your are ready to go.  This has a bright silver finish.
$2.89

woodspool.jpg

Wood Spool~For a jewelry making supply??  YES!  This can be a wonderful addition to your repertoire of jewelry making supplies.  I have a sample below of how I used it in conjunction with gold seed beads.  I made a strap of seed beads using peyote stitch that would fit around the spool and just joined the peyote strap ends together.  This will spin freely on the spool.  You could even add charms to hang from it if you liked.  Rhinestone chain would also be a neat and fun addition to the wood spool.  I would just slip my chain, ribbon, cording, etc. thru the spool and it would provide movement.  You can paint it fun colors with most any kind of paint.  You could engrave it with a wood burning tool-maybe a name or phrase.  Drill a hole through the body of it and suspend things from that point.  Possibilities are many.  Everyone loves the nostalgic look of old wooden spools, so it is a win-win from the beginning.  Very cost effective way to add another layer to your jewelery making.  The spool measures 3/4" x 1"- go by measurement not by picture-looks huge in pic.
Sold in a package of 3 or a package of 10.
Package of 3 spools ~ $0.59
Package of 10 spools ~ $1.99

Bamboo Cord-Earthtones~This is 100% natural bamboo cord and comes with 30 feet each of black, brown, cream or natural and variegated shades of earthtone colors of cream, tan, olive green colors.  It is 20 pound cord.  You can use this cord for jewelry making, crafts, scrapbooks, etc.  It feels nice, is soft and very pretty.  120 feet in all.
$3.99

lovecharmuse.jpg

Metal Love Definition Charms~ Like some days you have good hair and others you don't- the same is true for scanning.  This was a bad scanner day because it just does not do this piece justice.  It is a bright silver round charm measuring approx. 13/16" in diameter (20mm) and comes with a round ring at the top and a jumpr ing- all ready to go onto your favorite bracelet, necklace, project, etc.  The charm reads:  love (luv), n,v. a passionate feeling of affection for another person.  Sold per piece.
$1.45

bubbleuse.jpg

Acrylic & Metal Crystal Bubble Link~Isn't it interesting- I love acrylic, it always draws me in.  It measures approx. 13/16" in diameter or 22 mm.  It has a ring on each side so you can add beads, add to a bracelet, necklace or project.  Pkg of 4 links.
$2.99

chainuse.jpg

Silver Plated Pressed Wire Chain~This is a very pretty chain.  It is pressed metal with silver plating on top-and it comes in a 6 foot length and is pretty heavy in your hand when you have the whole thing there.  AlthoughI am not very familiar with the names of chains, but it has what looks like a double "c" inside each other in the center of the link and I think it is called cable chain.  Whatever you call it- it is pretty.  Use the chain for your jewelry making or cut it in smaller lengths for use as an embellishment on your projects. Hang a length of chain from a  tiny safety pin.  It can be a focal point under a picture, used on the front of books to highlight or underline a word, use it as a stem for a flower or bark for a tree, as a doll belt- there are so many possibilities!  It is a bright silver tone finish.
$2.99

hatpuse.jpg

dom1use.jpg

Hat Pin, 6"~ This is one long hat pin.  It comes complete with stopper finding at the bottom also.  Silver tone only. Add beads to it, use it as a special binding for a book.  Sold individually.  There is a sample to the right showing the hat pin being used with a small drilled domino, alcohol ink, seed beads and a cool face bead)

keepskuse.jpg

Keepsake Pendant~ This is a beautiful way to capture a favorite photo, mini-artwork or other item you wish to display to the world.  This pendant measures approx.  1 1/2" in diameter and approx.  1/8" high.  It comes with a sturdy double ring for your cording, ball chain, ribbon or beaded necklace.  The outside perimeter of the pendant has a ribbed design similar to what is on large coins.  You can preserve your displayed creation by adding your favorite resin product also.  It also comes with a frame pattern so that you don't need to fuss with trying to create a template for inside the pendant.  The picture shows the front and back of the pendant.  The front is recessed, but the back is flat and you would be able to use that side also, maybe a favorite photo, pretty papers, etc.  So your finished piece looks good on each side.  This makes a wonderful gift.  It comes in a nice silver finish-the picture does not do it justice.  Sold per piece, also available in bulk quantity (see below).

Metal Flower & Flourish Connector~ These are metal connectors measuring approx. 3/4" from ring to ring horizontally and approx. 3/8" high.  You can use them on bracelets or use a jump ring or screw eye to dangle from a project and add additionals beads or charms.  They are a pewter look in color and I love the flower and fourish design in them.  They are reversible- the design is the same no matter which side you look at.  You get a packge of 10 connectors and it also has pewter color jump rings included (25).
$3.95

rubberncklaceuse.jpg

Black Rubber Tube Lock Cord~I just discovered these recently when I took a class with Lisa Pavelka and made the little leaf pendant below.  To finish the look, she gave us these rubber cords to hang it from.  These are just handy dandy wonderful.  It is a 2 mm, 18" black rubber cord.  This cord looks nice around your neck and for those of you who teach classes and want to give your students a complete, finished look and piece, this is a great way to go.  One end slips into the other end to hold it in place.  It is easy to open and close.  Really quite ingenious.  Sample shown below with rubber cord.  Sold per cord

bingo4use.jpg

Wood Bingo Chips, Pkg of 20~These wood chips are great to make jewelry.  Drill through them to create earrings, bracelets, add to necklaces, etc.  They measure 1/4" high so plenty of room to drill through.  They measure approx 11/16" in diameter. One side has the dimensional number and the other side is blank.  You can glue something else to the blank side, rubber stamp it, or just color it.  Use them for any other project- scrapbooking, mixed media, book art, etc.
Package of 20 chips.
$3.00

This hand beaded pendant uses 2 brass charm circles, 1 is used to add the beads & the second is ashered to the top to hide the threads.  It incorporates a gold bail and black rubber cording.  The rubber cording is perfect for this necklace- does not take anything away from the design and black is always chic.  This is also perfect for people who have allergies to metal.  The scan just does not capture the brilliance of the beads.

Corrine's sample

I dug around and found this sample mde years ago.  I copied a tag onto the shrink plastic, cut it out, painted it with a goldish metallic acrylic paint, can't remember if I stamped on it before shrinking or stamped after, punched hole before I shrank it, added some wire at hole and went around the perimieter with a gold leaf pen.

Sample of Keepsake Necklace Pendant Kit using the portion of a sheet of postage stamps that shows the enlarged version of the postage stamp-this one is Tiffany Stained Glass Stamp.  I just used a portion of it in the frame and then put glaze over it.
Although this item has been discontinued by mfg- the technique can be used for other pendants and brass charm pendants.

This is what I meant by the larger size postage stamp that comes when you buy a sheet of stamps- they use a bigger size as sort of an ad, I guess, for the stamps.  They are pretty and can be used in the Amate style pendants along with the Patera pendants too.

Below is another sample using the Sunflower postage stamp.  My local postal deliverer is a sweety so I showed her the sample above using the Tiffany stamp and she loved it so she asked to have one made with her favorite sunflower stamp.
Simple- just trim the stamp accordingly, stick in the pendant, add some glaze and you are done- other than waiting for the glaze to cure- the hardest part!

For all you geneological buffs out there, this is a sample that my friend, Monica, made for her mom and several other family members for Christmas, 2009.  It features herself, sisters, gramma and great gramma.  She used the Keepsake Bracelet that is featured above on this page.  She really applied the name of the bracelet to this gift.  If you have someone in mind for a bracelet like this and they did not usually wear jewelry, I think it would be nice to make it and then frame it for them- just a cool look no matter what.

Corrines Beading Quest Sample

This sample really has nothing to do with this page but is here more as an encouragement to you.  For years, looking at the bead patterns in magazines like Beadwork and Bead & Button and looking at them and thinking...HUH.  Well I finally tackled one and this is the outcome.  This design was featured on the Beadwork Issue Feb/March, 2014 and is designed by Leslee Frumin.  It was relatively easy and her instructions were really well done.  I am more of a visual learner so just reading instructions without being able to feel, touch and see has not been very easy for me.  So this has inspired me to take on more.  This kit is available on Leslee Frumins website.  It was only $10 over what I paid for the items through Fusion Beads (writing this 3/15).  Her kit does not come with the pattern, that must come through the magazine.  So go try something new or something you thought you could not do and you just may be pleasantly surprised.
